Protestant Bible Study Leads to Catholic Priesthood

Go To The Source!

I will go peaceably and firmly to the Catholic Church: for if Faith is so important to our salvation, I will seek it where true Faith first began, seek it among those who received it from God Himself.

-St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

Cardinal Burke's Prediction of Persecution of Catholics in America

I've been preaching it for a few years now. Read Cardinal Burke's article on the persecution of Catholics in America.

Blogging at my House

My Morning Offering

Glory to you Who safe hath kept,
And hath refreshed me while I slept,
Grand, Lord, when I from death awake
I may of eternal Light partake.
Lord, I renew my vows to You,
Scatter my foes like morning dew,
Guard my first springs of thought and will,
And with Yourself my spirit fill.

Amen.

Very Thankful!

I want to express my thanks to those of your who prayed for me while I waited for results of a breast biopsy.  I appreciate that not everyone decided to listen to hateful voices who actually insisted I not be prayer for.  I got a call from my doctor today and the results were benign.  I'm very thankful and very glad to be able to enjoy the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holy Days without thinking about further treatment.

Meanwhile, please pray for a couple of people I know about who are on the brink of eternity from cancer or leukemia .  Lord, have mercy, Christ, have mercy, Lord have mercy.  St. Faustina, pray for those who are suffering terrible illness that trusting in God's Divine Mercy they may enjoy eternal Life and Light.  Amen +

A Note From Patrick

I received this note today from a seminarian who's asking for prayers. I post it here so that you'll be aware of his prayer request. — Patrick Madrid

"My name is Zach Weber and I am a seminarian for The Diocese of Green Bay at Saint Meinrad Seminary. On December 14th in Sheboygan WI, I am scheduled to give a talk on Chastity, Purity, Modesty, and the Truth of the Church to over 350 8th-12th gra...de CCD students. I am very concerned about there souls due to the poor Catechism classes and there lack of substance. I realize that not all programs are poor, but with only 15% of people coming back to Mass after being confirmed I am hoping to make a huge impact on their lives. I have been offering up holy hours, rosaries, and Mass' for the students for a couple of Months.

If you could please forward this e-mail to anyone you know to pray for the souls of the students who will be attending I would greatly appreciate it.

God Bless and thanks for all you do for the Church,"

Our Christian Nation

Though this teaching tour is run by Protestants and speaks from a Protestant point of view, it blows away the concept that this country was anything but Christian from the beginning.  We have been lied to people and the general public is buying it hook, line, and sinker.

Sometimes God Uses A Dumb Ass To Speak The Truth

1500 years of universal Gospel-compromising heresy & idolatry...or not

I just stumbled upon this great blog from a young Catholic Convert who is definitely going to bring many home through his teaching.  He wrote a great article on the history of the Catholic belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.  Take a moment and read his defense of this ancient truth.

THE CAMEL'S NOSE IS OFFICIALLY IN THE TENT IN MICHIGAN !!!

Muslim men are allowed to have as many as 4 wives. Many Muslims have immigrated into the U.S. And brought their 2-3-or 4 wives with them, but the U.S. Does not allow multi-marriages, so the man lists one wife as his, and signs the other 2 or 3 up as extended family on welfare and other free Government programs!

Michigan has the highest population of Muslims in the Unites States. When President Obama took office the United States paid several millions of dollars to have a large number of Palestinians, (All Muslim), immigrated here from Palestine . Why? I have no idea, do you? We don't pay for other persons to immigrate here, and I am sure that some of those Muslims moved into Michigan with the large current number of Muslims already established there.

So now in Michigan when you call the Public Assistance office you are told to Press 1 for English, Press 2 for Spanish, or Press 3 for Arabic!

Every time you add a new language to an American program it requires an additional number of persons fluent in that language to process those persons who refuse to learn English in order to live here at an additional cost to the taxpayer! Why are we even allowing persons to immigrate here who cannot provide for themselves, and putting them in our welfare system?

Press 3 for Arabic.

This is quite alarming!!! This seems to have happened clandestinely, for, as far as I know, no public announcement, or opportunity to vote on this was offered to the American people. They're just adopting an official stance, and very likely using tax-payer money for it, in various capacities, without public knowledge or approval.

The following link takes you into the State of Michigan Public Assistance page, (as in Food Stamps etc). You won't have to scroll far before you see the assistance-letters options for... (get this)....English, Spanish, and ARABIC !!!

When did the ARABIC option sneak into our culture? Will we soon have to listen to our governmental offices, stores, and other venues offer us the option of "pressing 3 for ARABIC?"

Check it out for yourself.

Please inform every American you know, that this is happening. It is outrageous! The camel's nose is literally now OFFICIALLY under the tent!

Deep River

I grew up listening to this song.  I just found out that this is Bobby McFerrin's father.  I've been a fan of his for years.  I'm blown away by the talent in this family.  I just pray that the faith has been as prevalent in the family as talent has been.

A Glorious Morning

I love rain.  After almost 40 years in Arizona, I absolutely love rain.  My favorite kind of rain is when the clouds hang low and cover the tops of the mountains and the air is cool and crisp and you can feel your parched skin drinking in the moisture.  On those days my lungs open up and take in all they can hold.

It was one of those mornings this morning and I threw on a sweat shirt and sneakers and went out to drink in the sites.  I walked up the bridge and watched the ducks paddle around; white ones in this row and black ones in another.  One little lone black duck was having a blast just doing his own thing and going wherever he wanted.  He kept looking up at me expecting me to throw something unhealthy down to him.  He eventually gave up and swam to the shore and dug for bugs in the wet grass.

I decided to walk beyond the bridge and go see the other side of the lake.  I walked down the boat ramp to the water's edge and watched the only other human in sight fishing on the far bank.  I'd love to live on that side. The back yards are right on the lake.  I'd love to sit on my patio and be right there on the water.

I couldn't get my feet to move from my place.  I wanted to memorize this beautiful morning.  I thanked the Lord over and over and over for leading me to this place and making it possible for me to live near the water.  Some geese across the way got stirred up about something and made that beautiful flute sound they make.

Then I noticed the reflection of the homes on the far side being erased by tiny splashes as a gentle rain started to stir the water.  The line of rain progressed across the lake until I was surrounded by a gentle mist.  My heart cried, "Glory to you Lord! Thank you for this beautiful moment with You."  Time stood still and I felt suspended in a moment of intimacy with my Lord that I knew would end all too soon.

Just before I turned to leave, several geese flew over the lake and circled around, being joined by several more and settling in the lake that is across the street from my neighborhood.  Beautiful creatures whose call sounds like an Indian flute all excited to be alive.

I walked home from my worship service in nature to get prepared for the only thing better in this life, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  A sacred moment in His creative artistry and a Sacred Hour in the Liturgy of Heaven.  What a glorious morning!

Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time—November 13, 2011

Ann Coulter Solves the Herman Cain Mystery

Herman Cain has spent his life living and working all over the country -- Indiana, Georgia, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Washington, D.C. -- but never in Chicago.

So it's curious that all the sexual harassment allegations against Cain emanate from Chicago: home of the Daley machine and Obama consigliere David Axelrod.

Suspicions had already fallen on Sheila O'Grady, who is close with David Axelrod and went straight from being former Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley's chief of staff to president of the Illinois Restaurant Association (IRA), as being the person who dug up Herman Cain's personnel records from the National Restaurant Association (NRA).

Be Not Afraid

Anxiety is the greatest evil that can befall a soul, except sin. God commands you to pray, but He forbids you to worry.
-- St. Francis de Sales

My Response to the Whole Cain Thing

I like Herman Cain. If he is truly guilty of what these media hogging women are saying, he needs to do some public repentance. But as a candidate for President, I think he is the most clear thinking, all-American, intelligent, business savvy choice. I like what my friend Mimi said in a recent email"

"It doesn't look so good for him with the media right now, but we know they are trying to destroy his chance to be president. Haven't heard that he let someone drown in his car yet or that there is a love-child out there or a mistress being paid off with campaign funds or a blue stained dress or recorded phone conversations that incriminate or some madam's book of names or or or!"

So regardless of the unfortunate things he is being accused of, I still appreciate the political stand Cain takes, especially on life, and the business know how that is a must if we are going to salvage this economy, and the truly American philosophy of Herman Cain.

Now I am hoping and praying that someone connects the dots and brings to light the fact that these women didn't care to air their complaints until Cain was in the lead. Someone is paying them, someone drudged them up out of the past and I hope somebody finds that someone and drags them out into the light.

The Feel Good Gospel by Bonnie Tyminski

I will never forget the statement uttered to me by a very well meaning Christian. It was during my lamenting (all right – complaining) about the trials and daily crisis’s I seemed to be encountering, and how they were distressing me. The retort was “Get off the Cross, Jesus already died there for you!”

Those words sent shock waves through me. “Get off the Cross”, where is that written in the Gospels? Where is it written that Jesus suffered and died so I could “feel” better? That Jesus hung on a Cross, so I would never encounter one? How did the dictate Then he said to them all: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23 lose its meaning?

Holy Water-A Means of Spiritual Wealth

Holy water is a sacramental that remits venial sin. Because of the blessing attached to it, Holy Church strongly urges its use upon her children, especially when dangers threaten, such as fire, storms, sickness and other calamities. Every Catholic home always should have in it a supply of holy water.
We do not take advantage of the benefits derived from holy water.

Of Saints and Eggs

Yup, I was all prepared.  Since our Parish was not having an evening Mass on this Holy Day of Obligation known as All Saints Day, I called early this morning to my former Parish and got the time of their evening Mass.  I notified and kids and got the oky doky that we were on for 7 pm this evening at St. Helen's.

Later in the morning, I talked to one of my Catholic brothers at work and discussed what Mass we were going to today.  He was going at lunch time, I was going with the kids tonight.

After a long afternoon of work, I finally got off the bus at Metro and headed for my car.  My memory has been real unreliable lately.  I get derailed real easily.  As I was driving home I remembered that I didn't have any food in the house, so I headed for the grocery store.  I was also nearly out of gas, so I decided to hit the gas station on the way to the grocery store.  The line was long at the gas station.  I bought injector cleaner and put it in and got gas.  By this time I had completely forgotten about Mass.  I was even thinking of going to see my Grandsons later in the evening.  I went on to the store and did some shopping and then headed for home.  I happened to check the time on my car clock and saw that it was 6:50.

Suddenly the whole day of being aware that I was going to Mass at 7:00 came rushing back in an instant and I realized I had ten minutes to get to Mass!  I had completely forgotten!  I called my daughter and cancelled my visit with apologies.  I set sail for St. Helen's and made it with a couple of minutes to spare and with groceries in the car and a dozen eggs in my purse.

My kids get a kick out of me.  For some reason they find me amusing.
