Great article. Mark Shea's snarky comment to the article is right on: "If only educators could marry! If only women could be teachers!"
Read the article here. As usual, the comments show the ignorance of the general public about the effects of illicit behavior by teachers any anyone in authority.

Why Islam Should NOT Be Protected Under the US Constitution
Contrary to conventional stupidity, Islam should NOT be protected under the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. Is there anyone left in the three branches of government today that can interpret our most sacred document (the Declaration of Independence not withstanding) correctly?
Like in Christendom, where the exegesis and hermeneutics of certain passages of scripture are often skewed to conform to a particular ideology, agenda, or belief system, so too has the clear and concise language of the Constitution and the 27 Amendments progressively undergone exegetical attacks over the decades—depending on which party is in power—to conform to a particular political ideology.
A Christian Massacre by Matthew Archbold
A buddy of mine who fought over in Iraq tells me of visiting a Catholic Church there. He said you’d hardly notice the church but on Sundays a number of Catholics would bravely arrive at Mass, knowing that their mere attendance could be a death sentence.
It affected him greatly. It made him think how he took for granted the ease with which he could attend Mass back in America with his wife and children. And I’ll admit that just hearing him speak of it, affected me. Not many Sundays go by without me thinking of those brave Christians who proclaim their love of Jesus at the risk of their own lives.
I know that growing up I always heard or read of the martyrs being put to death for their faith and at the time I was just so stupidly thankful that the world had moved beyond lions eating Christians in togas. But, of course, as I grew up I realized that the world hadn’t moved beyond that. It just got better at it. More efficient. Instead of lions, it’s bombs. Jesus is still the most reviled figure in history. Two thousand years later, His followers are still put to death all around the world.

Yada Yada Yada
Here it comes; the static over what I wrote about Islam. Amazing.
Let's do the math. How many mosques did Catholics blow up this weekend? What was that, I can't hear you. OK, then let's count how many Christians were murdered while worshiping in their Churches this weekend. Twenty seven, by last count.
I heard it said once that if Israel laid down their arms there would be no more Israel, but if the Muslims laid down there arms there would be no war. I believe that. I also believe that if Catholic don't prop up our government leaders and insist that our freedoms are protected, we're in big trouble. I think history makes that abundantly clear: Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. I think our nation, which worships at the altar of so called tolerance, is doomed to repeat the same old dusty battle of Christianity against Islam and it is doomed to lose simply because it is not Christian enough. Those of us who see it coming and are still clinging to our guns and our religion (not in that order, believe me) are crying out in warning like Jeremiah, but are not being heard.

Muslim Mafia Making Strides Against Religious Freedom
Every day, on my way to work, I drive by a mosque. Every time I see that crescent raised above the neighborhood I pray for protection against the invasion of Islam in our country and around the world. It demonstrated how blind our society is that after being a force for human rights world wide, we turn around and start "sucking up" to a religion that completely destroys the rights of all Muslim women and children, and any other person who is not Muslim. How can a country that defends the rights of some terrorist that might have been roughed up by a few Navy Seals in the process of arresting him, tries them like criminals for doing their job, turn around and defend the rights of Muslims to mutilate their daughters, commit "honor killings," beat their wives into submission and make their 9 year old daughters marry some old man. Does anyone else see the insanity of this? It's like the whole world is so terrified of Islam after 9-11 that we are just falling in step with the rest of the world and giving over our freedom to this "religion" that needs to crawl back into the desert and leave the civilized world alone.
Islam is not a religion. It is a political ideology that has undermined the whole world. We need to wake up and call an invasion and invasion and take up arms against it.
Check out this article if you think I'm over reacting. It's possibly the only time I have ever agreed with anything Hillary Clinton said.

The Tide Has Turned!
You may have heard about little baby Duggar, the twentieth child of the TMZ reality show family. I read this article on Life Site News about how this baby's death has impacted the fight against abortion. Rest in peace little Jubilee, your little life has left a mark on the world.

Hillary Clinton leaves flowers for Our Lady of Guadalupe, asks 'Who painted it?' :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)
Hillary Clinton leaves flowers for Our Lady of Guadalupe, asks 'Who painted it?' :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)
I think this actually happened a couple of years ago, but it was shared on facebook and I wanted to post it. I would have loved to have been there when the Msgr told her who painted the image. What was she doing there anyway? Why would she pick a sacred site to visit when she is so anti-christian herself? It's like a protestant apologist I know going to Rome. It's just wrong!

Death and Taxes are Joined By The Technological Black Hole
So obviously, I'm referring to things that are inevitable, right? Well, yes. But what is a technological black hole? Well, that is the moment when all the disk cleanup, defragging, updating and other forms of laptop life support suddenly hit the point of retrograde motion and your piece of junk laptop goes into full scale stall leading to crash and burn. Well, that is where my five year old laptop is at this point. I have babied and coaxed and even set up a personal sized fan for the old lady, but alas it appears to be curtains. I'm presently sitting on the floor begging my daughters seven year old laptop to stay alive long enough to just let me post this and maybe a few more things in the weeks to come in order to rattle the tin cup and ask for any donations you might feel led to make to fund a new piece of working technology.
Meanwhile, I hope you all have a Blessed Advent and a Merry Christmas. Isn't this just the most wonderful time of the year? I was out walking with the geese a while ago. When they leave all you northerners they come hang out down here with us desert rats. They are downright musical when they fly in and when they take off. They rather bully the resident ducks, but hey, they're seasonal so whatever.

Vatican II and Star Wars
I just read the most amazing article linking Vatican II to Star Wars. It is worth the 15-20 minutes it take to read, believe me. If you are a Star Wars fan, this is really going to blow your socks off!

5 Female Celebrities I’m Boycotting – And Why By Kristen Walker
If we stopped watching every movie or TV show featuring a pro-choice celebrity, we’d never watch anything. However, there are a few entertainers who are such blatant shills for the abortion industry that I as a pro-lifer feel obligated to deny them my money and attention. Here are just a few. I’m putting them in ascending order from least to greatest in terms of how much they annoy me, but rest assured they are all deeply annoying.

Miracle Shoes
As I have mentioned before, I have a great deal of back and leg problems. I actually have to work at maintaining my ability to walk. I'm just way too young to have to think about wheels! I came upon these shoes this past summer, and I don't want to wear anything else. I can work all day long in these things and not have the back and leg pain I usually get. I buy every pair I can find. I'm up to three pairs now because they are not easy to find. I strongly recommend them to anyone who has back, leg, foot or sciatic nerve problem.

Paterno, Pedophiles, Homosexuals, and Cowards by Robert Struble Jr.
I found this article and think it applies to the brave Priest mentioned below who is catching all kinds of guff for telling it like it is. As unpopular as he may be, he's a hero and a prophet for our time.
Coach Jerry Sandusky, the now notorious pedophile, and his boss, coach Joe Paterno, have some Catholic background. Paterno played football for a Catholic high school in New York. The New York Times states that Paterno is a “practicing Catholic.” The most I could ascertain about Sandusky is that his paternal grandparents emigrated from Poland.
To what extent either of these men were faithful to Catholic faith and morals is unclear. On the day after Paterno was fired, I was unable to get more insight into their Catholic character despite calling both parishes in State College PA, as well as the Penn State Catholic Campus Ministry. None of the three were answering their phones during business hours. I’m guessing they were hunkered down in a state of shock. At the diocesan level the family life director of the diocese, Mrs. Susan Stith, gave me the standard bureaucratic answer, “I’m sorry but I’m not authorized to give out any information.” I’m afraid I lost my temper on the telephone and called Susan a coward. Mea Culpa.

Iron Curtain begins descending onto the United States of America

As Barack Hussein Obama's real (internal) poll numbers continue to plummet into oblivion, Obama and his increasingly complicit Congress secretly pass laws that will enslave, incarcerate and even murder their fellow Americans — for the explicit purpose of those who are currently in power remaining in power. It is now becoming clearer and clearer that both the Marxist-Democrats and their RINO brothers and sisters may not allow the 2012 elections to occur.
