I've Said It All Along. He's Muslim.

If I find out this is photo shopped I'll take it down right away.  But I've said ever since I heard him talking about the call to prayer, that Islam is what is in his heart.  He can sit in an American pew and say he's Christian, but his soul is Muslim.

This picture is not photoshopped. It was taken by a NYTimes photographer during the 2008 presidential campaign. Here are a couple links:

I am a Conservative Traditionalist Catholic so I cannot stand Obama, but he is not a Muslim. He believes in Black Liberation Theology which is a mix of Christianty, Marxism, Socialism and Liberalism. Of course, Christitany is incompatible with those things so he's not really a Christian, either. They tend to be sympathetic to Muslims for many reasons.

The books isn't what the quote in your picture says it is. It's from a secular point of view that focuses on the rise of the rest of the world as China, for example, is growing economically and so on.

Why he's reading this book I don't know, but it's not because he's a Muslim. I think it's probably because he loves the rest of the world more than America.

In love and with due respect, I ask that you consider another possibility. Being extremely interested in and a long-time student of "sociology" (both in and out of school) I know from personal experience that things aren't always what they "appear" to be.
I consider myself a "seeker" of truth, understanding, and wisdom and don't recall a time, from my earliest memories, that God has not been the biggest element in my life. As a "cradle Catholic" raised by an Italian mother and an American, non-practicing Methodist father, I was not solely taught but, more importantly, SHOWN how Christ would have us live our lives.
That being said...as one who takes very seriously Jesus' last earthly command to "Love one another as I have loved you", I will tell you that I believe that part of learning to love the "unlovable" is EMPATHY. As my mother often reminded us, "Don't judge another until you have walked a mile in their shoes."
As much as human beings would like to believe that they can discern a man's heart and intentions, only God is capable of that:
"...For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”
I Samuel 16:7b

Please forgive me if this comes across as an affront to your personal belief; definitely not my intent. I hope this will be received as a loving reminder that we should "never judge a book by it's cover."
I can easily imagine how necessary it would be, as the leader of any nation, to understand "the mind" and cultures of those with whom you have to deal. I certainly wouldn't want his job!
I may be blissfully ignorant of Obama's true intentions but just wanted to give a little food for thought.
